Pat Langewis is a watercolor and silk artist. She attended Cal State, Northridge, and majored in art and theater. Her love of theater is seen in many of her pieces where bright color and drama are her strength. Pat's art has won various awards and she has been recognized in many juried nationwide shows. In 2014, Pat earned signature membership in both Alabama and Missouri Watercolor Societies. In 2013, her painting “Mother Love” was selected to tour the state with the Arkansas Heritage Council in 2013. In July, 2013, “Coy Koi” was shown in the Watercolor Society of Alabama national exhibition. “I Hate Rain” was in the international Missouri Watercolor Society show. In 2009, she won a major award from the Southern Watercolor Society for her watercolor, “Koi”, juried by Charles Reid. Pat teaches watercolor locally and on several cruise lines. She has lived in Europe for many years and is a world traveler. She enjoys her condo in Hawaii and calls Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, home.
